Science of Getting Rich with Bob Proctor

What's in a Thought

"Mind is the master power that moulds and makes,
And Man is Mind, and ever more he takes
the tool of Thought and shaping what he wills,
Brings forth a thousand joys, or a thousand ills;
He thinks in secret, and it comes to pass;
Environment is but his looking-glass "-
James Allen - As a Man Thinketh

Journey to the Inner Centre of Being
Using the Mind to create your life

We endeavour to make sense of, create and live in the world in pursuit of personal, financial and spiritual freedom.

How we gain that may seem to be one of the great mysteries of life.

For the some it may be a life long relationship, for others a lottery win, for another a successful career or for yet another devotion to a deity or belief system.Thinker of thoughts of gold

Thinker of thoughts of gold

In fact the pursuit of happiness and the meaning of life has as many ways and means as there are seekers.

However for more and more the old entrusted, taught and adhered to ways to riches both temporal and spiritual seem less and less workable as life evolves in all its magnificence and mystery.Thinker of thoughts of gold

Ever more complex and technologically wondrous ways are presented as an elixir, panacea and answer for everything. Yet the mind that creates the present reality and thinking still operates in the tried and trusted ways of habit and old paradigms.

Yet bottom line, nothing much has really changed in the pursuit and discovery of how, who and why we are.

Maybe because the initial spark has been too obvious and allowed to disappear under the radar

What is this spark?

Thought. More precisely the quality, nature and intention that makes up the thinking process-

We create our present circumstances and life through the thoughts that we hold in this moment and carry forward from the past. The more we believe, accept and own our thoughts the stronger they imprint the template that resides in our sub-conscious, which then manifests them as life.

For some, that may come as a shock. For others, denial. The fact is that the whole of existence emanates from thought, from an idea, a desire.

As an integral part of the whole. It is natural that contained in each of us is the very same creative process that started it all.

Imagine...

You have the very tools within you needed to create whatever you wish for, whatever you want.

Ponder the magnitude of that possibility - that creating whatever you want is at your command - within you.

How does that feel in you?

Become aware of how these two profound ideas are received by you.

Do you find yourself embracing or rejecting these world shattering truths?

If experience is anything to go by, then although pleasant and wishfully uplifting, a part of you has already drawn down the shutters and is resigned to accept the thought that:

..."Yes, that is great but honestly, how achievable is that considering my track record..."

or

" Yes, but..."

or

"..Easily said but difficult to put into practice.."

or

" If it is that easy then why isn't everyone doing it, benefiting from it etc...etc.."

or

"Then why is the world in such a mess?"

I may not have hit YOUR personal response on the head but at least you get the drift.

Think on this:

How easy is it for you to visualise?

That is, if I mention your car - can you visualise it - have an image of it in your mind's eye?

Yes: Easy isn't it?

If I mention your house or where you live - you can see it in your mind's eye, right?

If I ask you to visualise your husband, wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, best friend etc. - you have an image again

So visualising is easy.... for these.

If I ask you to visualise your mind - what comes up?

Nothing? - Don't worry, you're in good company.

Perhaps you saw a picture of your brain - well, that is not the mind...it's your brain, duh! Again, the majority of people give this reply.

Yes, it is really difficult for most of us to imagine the mind because
no-one knows what it looks like or has ever seen it.... and if we have never seen something or have an image to relate it to, it is going to be well nigh impossible to interact with it or use it in any meaningful way.

We live work and see in images - both externally and internally. FACT.

Since the mind is responsible for our every thought, action, reaction would it not be important to perhaps have an image of our mind to work with, just like those images of other things that we can access easily?

Why?

Because through visualisation we manifest the images and scenarios we draw to us, visualising their actuality in our thoughts strongly, imprinting them into our subconscious, through constant focus and imagining, we command the subconscious to do what it is programmed to do - obey the commands that reside in it as embedded thought patterns.

With these it forms these thoughts as our manifest reality.

You don't believe that? Then how do you encourage something to come to you that you desire?

You dream about it, you think constantly about it, you see yourself living, being, interacting with it....

Then one day it comes, in some form or other, into your life.

Attracted by you, by your thinking, obeying the universal Law of Attraction, it enters your life.

Sugar Daddy
So you asked for a Sugar Daddy!
You may have difficulty accepting some things that manifest in your life as precisely what you wanted - but then, how precise were you in creating it ?

Remember, if it isn't exactly what you thought you asked for, try to remember exactly what it was you asked for. As surely as night follows day, whatever you got you asked for.

Be careful what you ask for - you just might get it....

This is where knowing what your mind looks like, becomes one of the greatest gifts and most useful tools you could have at your disposal.

At this point gratitude and acknowledgement must be laid ultimately at the door of Dr Thurman Fleet, who as an accomplished healer from San Antonio, Texas, created, in 1934, the Stick Mind Person to illustrate the mind.

Laughed off by some as a simplistic model, it has come to be accepted by many of the world's leading psychologists, medical experts and leaders in human potential studies as the ultimate tool to understand the functions and dynamics in taking control of the mental faculties.

It was subsequently Bob Proctor's unabated work, understanding and teachings of the Stick Person and its ability to delve into, understand and control the Mind that has given us a tool allowing us to make changes of a quantum level.
